The bootable CDROM image should be burned as an ISO CD or made available to your system through an ILO/DRAC management interface. It will allow you to install XenServer, the XenCenter GUI, and begin virtualizing operating systems. After installing XenServer on your server hardware, and XenCenter on your desktop, remember to apply the annual free license file.

If you intend to virtualize Linux systems and would like to take advantage of some Linux-friendly templates, then you should download this CDROM image. The XenServer install CD will ask for you to insert ths second Linux disk at the appropriate point.

The following updates have been tested and certified for deployment on mission critical XenServer pools and the Hardware Appliance by 360is engineers. When applying these patches be sure to update all members of your XenServer pools within a short window. Patches should be applied using the Updates-Manager function in the XenCenter GUI.
